Message From the Couple
We are thrilled to celebrate our love with all our friends and family on the beach in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico! For the wedding ceremony- for the ladies- think floral maxi dresses, sunset hues! For the men- nice linens, florals, Hawaiians! Without a breeze, the beach can be quite hot.
Regarding children and plus ones, unless specifically invited, we regret that we cannot accommodate extra guests or children at this time. We have a small wedding venue, and while we'd love to have everybody with us, this is unfortunately not possible.
About Us
Brendan and Rachel met by random chance at the Stagecoach music festival in 2023, where out of 100,000 people, they bumped into each other and started chatting. After an amazing weekend of dancing and singing until their throats hurt, they decided to continue their relationship despite being LA long-distance (60 miles apart). They quickly became inseparable as they bonded over their sense of humor, love of adventure, and shared single brain cell. After driving across the country in a moving van to retrieve Rachel's cats and make their family complete, Rachel and Brendan knew that they were ready to take the next step. On a trip to Alaska in 2024, Brendan got down on one knee to make it official. Right as Rachel said yes, a bald eagle flew over the two, making the moment extra special. Since then, the two have lived together in Santa Monica, where the two continue to do all the things they love together. They cannot wait to get married and spend the rest of their lives together under the moon in Mexico with all of you!

Ashley Hinds
Maid of Honor
Rachel and Ashley met in Monterey in 2015. They were both bartenders and hung out in the same circle. They officially became friends at a Reggae festival, California Roots, when they unexpectedly hung out all day and bonded over laughter, music, dancing, and more. They continued to create a deep friendship, going on vacations to the Sequoias, a Wild West Road trip, and countless back-and-forth trips to and from LA. Ashley and her fiance John were with Rachel at Stagecoach when she met Brendan. They hung out all weekend and Ashley knew there was something real between them, making sure to deliver not-so-subtle threats to Brendan not to hurt her best friend. Update: He didn't :)
Julia King
Bridesmaid
Rach and Julia met in 2015 at her very first job in Monterey. They quickly bonded over dark humor, late-night bartending, and hiking together. The two went on a trip of a lifetime together where they backpacked Europe for 25 days together with no real plan. Since then, Julia has lived all over the country, where Rach has visited all the locations and made priceless memories together. Julia was the photographer behind the scenes in Alaska when Brendan proposed to Rachel. Little did she know, they were in cahoots the whole time with each other. Julia is like the older sister she never had to Rach and she can't wait for her to stand by her side on her big day.
Max Gentner
Best Man and Officiant
Brendan and Max met in 2009 when Brendan butted into one of Max's conversations in Spanish class. For some reason, Max didn't tell him off and the two were soon inseparable. Bonding over swim team, Pokemon, D&D, philosophy, trivia, and any number of other things, the two formed an unbreakable best friendship. Since that fateful day in 2009, the two have shared countless trivia nights, road trips, late-night conversations, and sometimes ill-fated adventures together. There was no other choice for Brendan when it came to choosing his best man. Also due to a long-standing half-joke, Max will also be serving as the officiant for Brendan and Rachel's big day.
Spencer
Groomsman
Brendan and Spencer met in 2014 through their college fraternity. The two bonded over their shared extremely dark humor, overly competitive games of foosball, and ye old Monday night all-nighter ice cream/teebs runs. Anyone who has seen the two together can tell you they have an inexplicable ability to feed off each other's jokes, sometimes going for hours collapsing in fits of laughter while simultaneously saying nothing of substance, often to the detriment of everyone around them. Introducing Rachel to Spencer was a big litmus test for Brendan, because if she could put up with the two of them together, then she could put up with anything. She passed with flying colors.
Mark
Groomsman
Mark and Brendan met in 2013 through their college fraternity. The two soon found themselves embroiled in a years-long competition for the title of best Dye player, one which made it easy for them to become friends and may still be ongoing even though they're both now washed. The two bonded over their competitive nature and all the nerd things they both love. After college, Brendan moved in with Mark and Taylor (sorry for cutting you out of the picture here bud) and the trio soon became the unbreakable Bang Bros. Surviving Covid together via Bang Friday™, weekly trivia nights, late-night game sessions, and the infamous pizza roll power hour solidified their friendship forever.

Throughout the resort, there are many restaraunt and snack options available to you. In June, we visited the resort to try all the food to make sure we could recommend the best spots possible! Don Diego, the resorts buffet, offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We recommend hitting this spot when you aren’t sure what you’re craving or are an early riser! Think traditional Mexican or American breakfast, they have it all! Feeling Brunchy? We loved the brunch spot- La Tortuga, under the large hut by the pool. Serving chips and salsa, fish tacos, and ceviche, you can't go wrong! For long days in the pool playing beach volleyball, cornhole, or getting plenty of Vitamin D, the resort also offers fresh sushi and personal sized pizzas from 12-5. We loved ALL of the sushi and pizza we tried, especially the fig and burrata pizza! For dinner, there is a traditional Italian restaurant, a Steak House, and a beachside seafood restaurant. Wherever you go, you will not be disappointed!
